The RAM brand will introduce today the highly anticipated RAM 1500 REV battery electric pickup truck. The ad, which will debut at the Big North Game, also marks the official opening when customers can line up to order the truck at wwwRamRev.com.
The 60-second “Premature Electrification” commercial launched today on the Rams’ social media channels and will air early in the fourth quarter of tonight’s game (February 12). Starring Emmy-nominated actor Jason Jones (“Go Around,” “The Flight Attendant,” “The Daily Show”), the ad addresses some of the potential electrification issues consumers may face when purchasing an all-electric vehicle. Warnings include range, power, and payload.
“We created this commercial to speak directly to Ram truck owners and prospective truck owners to bring a bit of light-hearted humor to the high-tech EV conversation, which rightfully takes itself very seriously,” said: Olivier Francois, director de marketing global de Stellantis.
